INGREDIENTS

Fig-Infused Bourbon:
750 milliliters bourbon
125 grams fig jam

To Assemble and Serve:
Yield: 1 cocktail
1 ounce amaro nonino quintessentia
1 ounce Aperol
1 ounce lemon juice
Lemon twist

METHOD

For the Fig-Infused Bourbon:
In a nonreactive container, combine all ingredients. Stir until jam is fully dissolved. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds. Bottle and reserve.

To Assemble and Serve:
In a shaker with ice, combine amaro, Aperol, lemon juice, and 1 ounce Fig-Infused Bourbon. Shake until chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with lemon twist.
