Yield: This will depend on how you choose to use your salt.

1 gram White Widow kief
1 cup sea salt

Step 1

Decarboxylize the kief. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees F. Take a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper that will not burn in the oven. Very carefully sprinkle the kief onto the sheet making sure that it is evenly disbursed. Place the baking sheet into the oven uncovered and heat for 25 minutes. Pull the baking sheet from the oven, and let it cool completely. Be very careful when removing it from the pan. You now have decarboxylized or “activated” kief.

Step 2

Once the kief has cooled, add it to the salt in a large mixing bowl. Mix the salt with your hands or a coated whisk until the kief is evenly distributed.

Step 3

Measure out the amount you want to season your fries to get an accurate dose per serving of Okonomiyaki Fries or just add a fresh pinch to lightly medicate the dish.

Product Dose

Most grams of kief will at least test at 50% THC, so do the math accordingly. If one gram of Cheese kief tests at 50% THC, fifty percent of 1,000mg would be 500mg. So if you added 1 gram worth of White Widow into your recipe at 50% THC, you need to divide 500mg by the amount your recipe yields. For example, if you used the salt by the teaspoon, 48 teaspoons are in a cup and would yield 10.42mg. If you want a smaller dose adjust accordingly by lowering the amount of kief used by ½, ¼, 1/8, and 1/16 increments.
