Highland Wisdom: Highland Park 12-year Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Honey Syrup, Celery Bitters, and Sage

INGREDIENTS:

3 fresh sage leaves
½ ounce honey syrup
2 ounces Highland Park 12-year Single Malt Scotch Whisky
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
2 dashes Bitter Truth celery bitters
tri-color fresh sage

METHOD:

In a mixing glass, lightly muddle sage leaves in the honey syrup. Add ice, Scotch, lemon juice, and bitters. Shake vigorously and strain into an Old Fashioned glass over fresh ice. Garnish with sage top.
