Chris Parsons Announces Plans to Relocate Catch Restaurant
and Open New Parsons Table in Winchester, MA

February 1, 2010/Winchester, MA....Chris Parsons, chef/owner, Catch Restaurant in Winchester, MA announces he is planning to relocate the popular Catch Restaurant to Boston/Cambridge (site pending), and open a new restaurant, Parsons Table, at 34 Church Street, Winchester, the present site of Catch.

"It is an exciting time for us" explains Parsons. "We've loved operating Catch here in Winchester - this space and our devoted clientele are just amazing. Six years here have flown by! We have outgrown the space for Catch, so rather than give it up completely - we are actually going to have the best of both worlds. I am holding onto the space and creating a new restaurant "Parsons Table" which I think is exactly what Winchester needs. A friendly, neighborhood dining room serving comfort food classics that will be perfect and appealing every day of the week. And I plan to move Catch to a space in the Boston/Cambridge area. Those details are still pending, but I will be sure to let our friends know once everything is set."

Catch Restaurant has earned top accolades from local and national critics alike. Honored by Boston Magazine as "Best Locavore Restaurant North of Boston 2010" and "Best Seafood Restaurant North of Boston" several years running, it is known for beautifully executed seafood dishes sourced mainly from our local waters.

Catch will stay open through Valentine's Weekend, with its last dinner service being Sunday night, February 14, 2010. Parsons plans to bring back some of his favorite dishes in the remaining weeks. Of which there are many. "We change the menu here every night, so we have lots of favorites" smiles Parsons. Friends have already begun requesting their most memorable dishes, such as Salt Roasted Wellfleet Clams with chorizo breadcrumbs, oregano mojo and roasted lemon; Mussels with Spanish air-dried chorizo breadcrumbs, soffritto, smoked tomato; and Gloucester Scallops with roasted pineapple, soy beans, celery root, with braised short rib ravioli. "We're going to have some fun in the Catch kitchen these next few week and we hope our friends will come and join us before February 14!!"

Parsons Table has long been on Parsons' mind in concept, but figuring out when/where didn't make itself clear until Parsons realized he could indeed open two restaurants within the same year - Parsons Table in Winchester plus Catch in Boston/Cambridge.
