NEW YORK, NY | October 7, 2019​ – On October 14t​ h​, Chefs Club New York will welcome internationally acclaimed Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Burns for a six-week residency featuring his contemporary expression of modern, seasonal cuisine. Burns, who honed his skills in the storied kitchens of Noma, Fat Duck, and Momofuku, went on to open his own one star Michelin, Luksus.  Throughout the residency, Chef Burns will welcome industry all-stars and longtime friends to join him for exciting collaborations, including renowned fellow Michelin-starred Chef Alex Atala of D.O.M (Oct. 15) for an incredible eight course tasting. Also in the line up, Chef Iñaki Aizpitarte from famed Paris bistro, Le Chateaubriand ​(Nov. 13-14), Newfoundland Chef Jeremy Charles, co-owner of Raymond and the Merchant Tavern (Nov. 18-19), and a rare mezcal tasting with Owner of Gota Gorda, and Las Animas Botica, Dani Tatarin (Oct. 24-26). ​Information about the exciting chef collaborations will be rolled out week by week on Chefs Club’s social media channels, and tickets can be purchased on TOCK.  For his Chefs Club residency, running through November 23rd, Burns will showcase a three course menu with options ($85+) and an all-encompassing five course tasting ($125+), paired with exquisite natural wines, one-of-a-kind spirits & limited edition craft beers.  Chef Burns has tapped his Food & Beer co-author, critic and artist Joshua David Stein, to design a mural in the Chefs Club space that features iconic recipes through Burns’ career as well as installations throughout the space. A traditional Danish Long John bicycle that Burns brought back from his time in Copenhagen will welcome guests in front of the Mulberry Street entrance. His culinary talent and craftsmanship has lead him to gain international experience at celebrated restaurants around the world. Throughout his career, from the Fat Duck and St. John in the UK, to becoming the pastry chef at Noma in Copenhagen (2006-2009) he was able to genuinely cultivate his passion for food & drink. In 2010, he moved to New York to launch the test kitchen for Momofuku, as head of R & D; he then went on to become chef/partner at Tørst and Luskus in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
