Rising Stars Restaurant Week
Monday, September 21 — Sunday, October 4
We're returning to Boston to celebrate the city's most talented up-and-coming food and beverage professionals. The StarChefs team met with more than 75 young chefs, pastry chefs, bartenders, sommeliers, and artisans across the metro area—concluding their search in early February, before the pandemic. These 22 Rising Stars Award winners represent the vanguard of Boston hospitality and were to be honored at an Awards Ceremony and Tasting Gala originally scheduled for April. In place of this event, StarChefs is promoting Rising Stars Restaurant Week, drumming up support for these award winning restaurants throughout the city during this time of struggle.
Rising Stars Restaurant Week is a two-week promotion spotlighting the 2020 Boston Rising Stars’ restaurants and dishes, wine pairings, cocktails, coffee, and ice cream that wowed the StarChefs team. The promotion, which will run from September 21 through October 4, will adhere to federal and state guidelines, and most featured food and drink will be available for either dine-in, takeout, or both.
When diners share a story or post of a Rising Stars’ dish or drink on Instagram during Rising Stars Restaurant Week, they’ll be entered to win a $100 gift card for the next time they dine out at that Rising Stars’ establishment. Participants must tag @StarChefs and #StarChefsRisingStars to be eligible to win.
To coincide with Rising Stars Restaurant Week, StarChefs will release the Boston edition of Rising Stars Magazine, available for free at the Rising Stars’ establishments. A link to download a digital version of the magazine will be available here soon.
