2018 Valrhona C³ International Finals
 

For the fourth year, StarChefs partnered with Valrhona to host the International Finals of the Valrhona C³ Pastry Competition on Monday, October 22. At this year's competition, eight internationally acclaimed pastry chefs raced against the clock to create plated desserts and pre-desserts featuring Valrhona's NYANGBO 68% single origin chocolate from Ghana, Africa.

Yusuke Aioki took home the first place prize, taking home an exclusive Valrhona trophy and €5,000 back to Indonesia. In second came Italy's Ettore Belligni, and the Press Prize went to Cyril Gaidella.

 
The Chocolate Chef Competition (aka C³) celebrates the professional pastry chef and honors the elaborate nature of the trade in all of its technical and creative aspects.
