Will Blunt of StarChefs - Biography

Growing up in a political family in Washington, D.C., Will Blunt graduated from Georgetown University and spent time working for a Congressman on Capitol Hill before moving to New York City. He joined StarChefs when the company was in its infancy and has been instrumental in making it the leading media company for culinary professionals. Blunt’s background in politics has not gone to waste: he applies his diplomacy daily to forging relationships with chefs and advertisers alike.
As managing editor, Blunt wears many hats. He has been integral to the vision, development, and success of the International Chefs Congress. Blunt has helped build the StarChefs advertising client base from virtually nothing and has worked to maintain the integrity and authenticity of its promotions.
In his role as editor, Blunt is particularly involved with the growth of bartending content. His foresight was crucial in recognizing the importance and influence of cocktails within the restaurant industry. Blunt works on the ground to contribute to tastings, interviewing many of the professionals featured on StarChefs. He also serves on the board of Careers through Culinary Arts Program and works with organizations such as Chefs for the Marcellus, Share Our Strength, and Partnership with Children.
