Pastry Chef Jared Bacheller of L'Espalier - Biography

Jared Bacheller pursued a degree in pastry and baking at the Culinary Institute of America, and after an internship at the Ritz Carlton in Boston, he stepped into a full-time pastry cook position at the original location of esteemed hotel. After two years honing traditional French technique, he transferred to another Ritz location, where he focused on modern pastry for the next two years. Bacheller’s next move took him to Boston’s L’Espalier, where worked with Rising Star Pastry Chef Jiho Kim and later stepped into the role of head pastry chef. Bacheller has stageed at top restaurants in the United States and Europe, such as Lords of the Manor in Great Britian, Noma and AOC in Denmark, and Per Se, Eleven Madison Park, and Le Bernardin in New York City.
