We purchase frozen meatballs and frozen garlic split buns place them in the freezer until needed. We will make our own homemade spaghetti sauce and freeze it in small freezer containers until needed. When unexpected company comes in for the holidays we just pull out the spaghetti sauce place the meatballs and sauce in microwave bowl and heat. Thaw garlic buns in microwave and place under broiler until crisp. We always have mozzerella cheese shredded in zip-lock bags waiting! you place the bowl of sauce and meatballs out and the toasted buns along with parmesan cheese and mozzerella cheese and let the guests serve them selfs!They are fantastic!
