I totally understand. I run a small, 60 seat restaurant. Friday andSaturday nights are usually completely booked a day in advance. Last FridayI took a reservation for10 guests. When they showed up they announced they would be 17 guests. Itold them I had seating for 10 available and no other tables available.They asked if we could just put extra chairs around their table. I onlyhave so many chairs and there are only so many dinners my little kitchencan produce. The whole group finally left......I tried the best I couldbut when a large group almost doubles in size I just dont have anywhereto put them on a busy Friday night.........If they had taken just acouple of minutes to give me a call I may have been able to juggle otherreservations, not squeezed in that walk-in, or made some otheraccomodations.
