: : Maybe you should read through some of these complaints. As for staying home if we cannot keep a good attitude, it's people like you that think the customer is there to please you that bring restaurants down. It's a competitive business and many owners lose lots of money when servers have the kind of attitude you have. A fine restaurant will often change the mood of the individual that walks in stressed.

: : Yes, dining is supposed to be an enjoyable experience, however, if it is not and it's because of the service, you get little if any tip from me!

: : Tipping is at the discretion of the customer, it's not your right.

: Well said. It is too often the jerk who is serving you does everything possiable to insure you will never come back to the establishment and then expects a 20 percent tip for his effort. It is high time the public at large puts a stop to exceptions from a minimum wage appling to resturant workers. Today the kids at McDonalds get more than minimum. It is not because they are generous but they
: have to pay more to get workers and there is usally a help wanted sign in the window.

Mr Bart, You are a bitter person. Have you noticed that you probably have trouble with other areas in you life from plumbers to doctors. You talk about the attitude of the server but what about the attitude of the guest? I doubt that you have ever tipped 20% regardless of the food and service quality. We have customers, fantastic customers, lining up to eat who know how to act in a fine dining situation, so please do us and yourself a favor and learn how to cook at home.
