You don't know how many times on a busy saturday when one of my six tables looks at me with that desperate 'IS OUR FOOD READY YET??!!' look in their eyes, that i have to think...."It's a Saturday night... they are out.. sitting at a table with friends/family/signifigant other, relaxing, talking... out to dinner on a Saturday night. And i am WORKING!!" I mean... who should be the person who is on edge in this situation... People rush-rush-rush all through dinner... then wonder why they have so much time on their hands to kill later on.. Seriously... you are the one lounging at a table relaxing... just calm down and enjoy yourself... believe me.. we don't want you hanging around forever.... we should be the only ones stressed... not you! If you don't enjoy your company enough to tolerate conversing with them for around 20-30 minutes at a table, then you shouldn't be having a meal with them!
