Old World Tomato-Rice Soup
- 1-28oz. can Crushed Tomatoes
- pinch of baking soda
- 1/2 cup cooked rice
- 2 tsp. flour
- 3 Tblsp. sugar
- 3/4 cup sour cream or lite sour cream
- S&P to taste
In saucepan place tomatoes,baking soda and rice heat to boiling.
Mix sour cream, flour and sugar and add to tomatoes.
Cook gently while stirring often for about 5 min. or until slightly thicker. Serves 2-4
