  • 3 fresh winter pears
  • Salad greens
  • 1 pound cooked tiny shrimp
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

    Core pears; cut into wedges. Arrange on lettuce-lined salad plates. Combine shrimp, celery, green pepper and green onion. Blend mayonnaise, curry powder and salt. Toss with shrimp mixture. Add to salad plates with pears. Makes 6 servings.
