Choosing Quality Cookware
When choosing a line of cookware for your home or professional
kitchen, it is important to keep in mind quality, construction and
design. The stainless steel exterior of the Biró Cookware
is extremely versatile, and adept at performing on multiple cooking
surfaces. The pans have a layer of aluminum between 2 layers of
stainless steel using triple-ply construction that provides quick
heat distribution and an easy to clean surface. The extra-long,
durable handles provide the stability preferred by many professional
chefs and allow effortless movement from stovetop to oven. Biró

Chef Marcel Biró began cooking in his father’s restaurant
in the former East Germany, and then went on to become one of the
youngest chefs to earn the title Master Chef de Cuisine. Having
worked at numerous Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe, including
Braustübel, Au Crocodile, and Die Zwiebel,
Biró moved to the US and opened his own restaurant, Biró
Restaurant and Wine Bar, in 2002.
This
led to the creation of the Marcel Biró Culinary School in
2003, and the opening of his second restaurant, Ó,
in 2004. He is star of the Emmy® Award-winning PBS reality cooking
series The Kitchens of Biró and co-author of the
award-winning Biró: European-Inspired Cuisine cookbook
and forthcoming SpanAsian Cuisine from Ó, a
Biró Restaurant. He is currently opening a restaurant
and culinary school in Los Angeles.
