No purchase necessary.  To enter, completely fill out and send the required electronic submission form/application prior to Friday, August 27, 2010. Only one entry per chef will be eligible for the contest.  Open to any working chef. Void where prohibited by law. There will be one Grand Prize winner chosen by a selection of judges. There may be prizes given for other levels of competition. Winners will be selected in person before the end of the International Chefs Congress. No purchase or payment of any money is necessary to enter.  All entries become exclusive property of and Vita-Mix Corporation (“Vitamix”)  and may not be acknowledged or returned. and Vitamix assumes no responsibility for lost, late, illegible, incomplete , misdirected entries., or computer, telephone, hardware, software or program malfunctions or any other errors, failures or delays in entry submissions.

Contestants agree to the use of their name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Competitors will be asked to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release that will allow the use of contestants names and likenesses for other promotional activities by Vitamix and

The winner(s) may not transfer or substitute the prize. Federal, state and local taxes, charges and incidental costs, if any, are the sole responsibility of prize winner(s).  All decisions are final. No substitutions of the prize(s) are allowed.

Employees and immediate family members of and/or Vitamix, participating vendors, their subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising agencies or related companies are not eligible to enter. Neither or their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions or related companies are responsible for any damages, taxes or expenses that contestants may incur as a result of this contest or receipt of prize. Contestants further acknowledge that Vitamix and has neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness.
