2009 Rising Star Pastry Chef Robert Truitt, formerly of Corton, is joining Michael White's newest restuarant, Ai Fiori. Located on the second level at The Setai Fifth Avenue, Ai Fiori will open at the end of this month.

Rising Star Chef Todd Steinn, formerly of Cibo Matto, is opening BLT's Chicago outpost, The Florentine, in the JW Marriott this week.

HOUSTON
Craig Shelton, a Relais-Gourmand chef who pioneered farm-to-table fine dining on the East Coast, is the new managing partner and executive chef at The Inn at Dos Brisas a Forbes five-star restaurant in Washington, Texas.

WASHINGTON, D.C.
Chef Tucker Yoder, most recently chef at The Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia, has returned to the kitchen at Clifton in Charlottesville, Virginia as the new executive chef.
Fabio Trobocchi, formerly of Maestro, plans to open Fiola, Spring, 2011. The Italian Fine Dining restaurant will feature cuisine from chef Trobocchi's native region of Le Marche.
Chef Nick Sharpe is no longer at Sonoma in DC. He is opening chef at Ba Bay on Capitol Hill.
2010 Rising Star Benjamin Lambert is no longer at restaurant Nora. He recently accepted the position of chef at Crabtree Kittle House in Chappaqua, New York.
