A new restaurant, The Wright, is in the works at the Guggenheim Museum.
After closing his breakthrough dessert-focused restaurant P*Ong earlier this year, Pichet Ong begins anew with Spot, located in the East Village.
Ryan Skeen has left Allen & Delancey. No word yet on a possible replacement.
Ma Peche, David Chang's new restaurant in the Chambers Hotel, is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.?
Sam Mason has left Tailor. The restaurant remains open as Mason works on other projects, such as his TV show Dinner With the Band.

new location and more fun.
2009's festival will feature culinary celebrities, restaurants, tastings, live
cooking demonstrations and holiday shopping from November 6-8th in
their new space at Chelsea's The Tunnel/La Venue.

Casino Arizona, a venture of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community
(SRP-MIC), announced today the appointment of Tom Freimuth as executive chef for
its new property, Talking Stick Resort. Chef Freimuth brings 30 years of cooking and hospitality experience to the resort.

Edgar Leal has closed Cacao in Miami and is moving to Caracas, Venezuela to focus on his new restaurant there. For the next year and a half Leal will also work as a consulting chef in Mexico City, though he is planning to return to South Beach in the future.
The first Shake Shack location outside of New York City is soon to be a reality. Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group plans to bring
its beloved Shake Shack to Miami in spring/summer 2010.
