Eric Korsh (Prune, Patroon) is the new chef at The Waverly Inn.
Joe Campanale, August Cardona, and Gabe and Katherine Thompson have opened their latest endeavor, Anfora, just a couple doors down from previous project dell'anima. Anfora will focus on sustainable and biodynamic wines, and fittingly takes its name from amphora, the ancient Greek terracotta wine vessel.

Adam Fleischman (Umami) has tapped Jordan Kahn (2010 LA Rising Star Pastry Chef) to handle both savory and pastry at Red Medicine, a "Slanted Door meets Momofuku" Vietnamese restaurant. Red Medicine is set to open in July.
Sweet Lady Jane bakery and cafe is moving to a bigger location in Santa Monica.

Chef Scott Howard is opening Brick & Bottle at the end of May in Corte Madera. The Marin County local is planning for this venture to focus on local produce and neighborhood appeal.
Tyler Florence is planning to open his new restaurant, Wayfare Tavern this month, barring any unforseeable delays.

Equinox, the downtown restaurant co-owned by Ellen Kassoff Gray and chef Todd Gray, has received its building permit, and is slated to re-open soon.

Susan Povich and Ralph Gorham, proprietors of the Red Hook Lobster Pound in Brooklyn, NY, will be selling their fresh-from-Maine lobster rolls in the DC area. After a kickoff at the Azalea Garden Festival in Bethesda, they plan to sell rolls from a truck in the DC area beginning in early June.
