Chef Todd Gray of Equinox has opened a new restaurant in DC: Watershed. Located in the Hilton Garden Inn in NoMA, Watershed features dishes inspired by the Eastern Seaboard.
Heather Roth, formerly Heather Chittum, a 2006 Rising Star and Top Chef: Just Desserts contestant, is taking a teaching position at L'Academie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, MD.

Chef RJ Cooper will preview his upcoming DC restaurant, Rogue 24, at Limited Time Only (LTO), a pop-up restaurant space in Manhattan from April 27 through May 8.
Fellow Rising Star Pastry Chef Chris Ford and Rising Star Mixologist Gina Chersevani, will join Chef Cooper. The team will offer a 16-course progression menu and a 24-course journey menu nightly.

Chef Gaston Acurio is opening his second United States location of La Mar in the Madison Square Park neighborhood late this summer. Chef Acurio features "haute Peruvian cuisine" at his flagship restaurant, which has expanded to seven locations throughout Central and South America (and San Francisco).
