Join festival hosts Florida International University and Southern Wine & Spirits of America at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel as they honor three leaders in the wine and food industry, Alice Waters, Owner & Founder, Chez Panisse (Berkeley, CA) and the Chez Panisse Foundation, Joseph P. Micatrotto, Chairman, President and CEO of BUCA, Inc., of Buca di Beppo restaurants, and Colin Campbell, Managing Director, Sales of Möet Hennessy. Past honorees include Baroness Philippe de Rothschild and the Robert Mondavi Family.

The brunch begins with a Moët & Chandon champagne reception featuring beautifully prepared mouth-watering gourmet treasures. A culinary extravaganza follows in the hotel's magnificent Grand Ballroom. Award-winning chefs, Marc Ehrler, Loews Miami Beach Hotel Executive Chef, Allen Susser of Chef Allen's and Tom Colicchio, Chef/Owner of Gramercy Tavern, Craft, CraftSteak and Craftbar will prepare a feast that will illustrate their dedication to celebrating the natural flavors of great ingredients.

CHEF CHATS, DEMONSTRATIONS, CULINARY SEMINARS, GRAND TASTING & AMERICAN AIRLINES LIVE AUCTION:
Sunday, March 2, 2003- from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., The Grand Tasting, Culinary Seminars, & the American Airlines Live Auction will take place in the Fine Living Network Grand Tasting Village, over looking the Atlantic-framed white sand beach, at 10th Street and Ocean Drive.

The Grand Tasting will take place from 3 pm to 7 pm, but join us earlier for the Culinary Seminars, Chef Chats and Demonstrations that will be given by world-renowned chefs and industry leaders throughout the day, from 11 am to 6 pm.

Guests will register at the Captain Morgan Welcome Center where the first 3,000 guests will receive a keepsake South Beach Wine & Food Festival tasting glass to partake of wines and spirits from over 2000 American and international producers representing 16 countries. The Beringer Vineyards, owner of highly acclaimed, award-winning wine estates in California, Australia, New Zealand, Italy and Chile, will host a separate tasting area in the Grand Tasting tent--a must-stop location for serious oenophiles. Guests will sample signature dishes offered by more than 100 of South Florida's top restaurants as well as from special guests chefs from the Basque Region of Spain.

The seminars will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature: Eric Ripert, Rocco DiSpirito, Roxanne Klein, Gordon Ramsay, Alton Brown, Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelsson, Dean Fearing, Pierre Herme, Colin Cowie, Dana Cowin and Alice Waters, The American Express Trade Program, Drew Nieporent and Dr. Arthur Agatston, and Tony Abou-Ganim among others.

The American Airlines Live Auction, will feature rare wines, private winemaker dinners prepared by celebrity chefs, wine tours, and will wrap-up this incredible Second Annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival, one of the largest of its kind in the country. The Auction will take place at 5 pm.
