PORTLAND, Maine - The American Automobile Association (AAA), one of the country's most respected authorities on travel and hospitality has awarded Hugo's Restaurant in Portland with its prestigious Four-Diamond title. This is the second year in a row Hugo's has received this award by consistently providing a high degree of creativity and quality in its menu and offering an unsurpassed level of service. Hugo's is the only restaurant in Portland to receive this award.

Hugo's was recognized earlier this year when Evans was nominated for Best Chef Northeast in 2007 by the James Beard Foundation. Evans was honored in 2004 with the "Best New Chef Award" from Food & Wine Magazine.
