4. Interview Question and Tip: Chef Daryle Nagata of The Fairmont Hotel - Washington, D.C.
Question: Where do you come from and where do you want to go?
I look for a passion to learn, because you can teach people to chop and dice.

Tip: Successful and unsuccessful people have things to teach you. Pay attention.

5. Jobseeker Hotplate: Thank You Letters
After every interview, send a thank you letter via e-mail or regular mail (whichever is more appropriate). The letter should be kept short and to the point. Be sure to thank the interviewer for their time and reaffirm your interest in the position. If you feel there was some relevant information about yourself you did not have the opportunity to bring up during the interview, this is the time to mention it. Your letter will remind the employer who you are and keep you in the running to get the job.
