Bolo's passion fruit sangria

Yield: 6-8 glasses

  • 2 bottles dry white wine
  • 3/4 cup brandy
  • 1/2 cup triple sec
  • 3/4 cup simple syrup (see recipe)
  • 3/4 cup passion fruit purée or juice
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 oranges, sliced into thin rounds
  • 2 green apples, cored and sliced thinly
  • 2 lemons, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries, sliced into halves

Combine the ingredients in a large pitcher and refrigerate,
covered for at least 4 hours or overnight. Serve over ice

& simple syrup

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

Bring water and sugar to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat and cook until the sugar has melted. Let cool to room temperature.
