The Ellison Cocktail

Yield: 1 drink

  • 3 thin slices cucumber
  • 4-5 mint leaves
  • ¾ ounce fresh lime juice
  • ¾ ounces simple syrup
  • 1½ ounces Hendrick’s gin
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • Ice

Muddle slices of cucumber, a little of the simple syrup and mint leaves in the glass half of a Boston shaker. Add the rest of the simple syrup, lime juice, Hendrick’s Gin and Angostura bitters. Shake vigorously and strain with a Julep strainer into a chilled cocktail glass.

To Assemble and Serve:
arnish with a slice of cucumber.
