Hot Chocolate |
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 quart whole milk
- 4 ounces Valrhona cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 ounces sugar
- 6 ounces Valrhona chocolate, chunks
- 1 Tablespoon homemade vanilla
Ingredients:
- Pour milk and cocoa into a saucepot,
bring to a simmer and add sugar.
- Reduce heat to very low and add chocolate stirring
occasionally until melted, about 3-5 minutes.
- Strain hot chocolate through a sieve and finish
with vanilla. Hot chocolate can be topped off with
homemade marshmallows or whipped cream.
