Tilth Bloody Mary

Yield: 6 Servings

Bloody Mary mix:
1 quart vegetable juice
¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
¼ cup fresh horseradish
¼ cup Worcestershire
2 tablespoons Tabasco
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons ground celery seeds

To Assemble and Serve:
12 ounces Monopolowa or other vodka
Seasonal pickled accompaniment, for garnish

For the Bloody Mary mix:
Mix together all ingredients until incorporated.

To Assemble and Serve:
Rim a highball glass with salt and set aside. Pour two ounces of the vodka over ice into a Boston shaker glass. Fill glass with Bloody Mary mix. Cover and shake twice. Pour into the salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with the pickled accompaniment.
