Chefs Collaborative was founded in 1993. It is a network of chefs
and other culinary professionals who promote sustainable cuisine by
supporting local farmers and artisinal producers, educating each other
on complex environmental and biotechnical issues, participating in local
traditions and habitats, and inspiring their customers to choose, clean,
healthy foods. Collaborative members across the country recognize the
deep impact of food on people's lives, as well as on the well-being
of the community, and the integrity of the global environment. Many
