Yield:
2 (4-ounce) servings
- 4
ounces vodka
- 2
ounces Berentzen Apple Liquor
- 2
ounces Green apple puree (see recipe below)
Pour
ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well for about
10 seconds. Strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with an
apple wheel.
Green
Apple Purée
- 1-2
green apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1/2
cup simple syrup, or as needed (see recipe below)
Combine
chopped apples and simple syrup (as needed) in a blender, and
purée until smooth. Use the purée as soon as possible
or it will turn brown. Do not be tempted to add lemon to this
mixture-it will ruin the taste.
Simple
Syrup
Combine
equal parts sugar and water in a sauce pot and bring to a boil,
reduce to a simmer and cook just until sugar is dissolved. Remove
from heat and cool before using.
