Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers
Guests of honor Danny Meyer and Chef Michael Romano of Union
Square Café, along with 36 of New York’s top
chefs, will offer a preview of spring dining at this year’s
benefit. Participating chefs will be paired with C-CAP protégés
from New York City high schools. The Today Show’s Al
Roker will emcee this event, which features a silent auction
including culinary and travel packages.
Since 1990, C-CAP has been committed to building the careers
of inner-city high school students who aspire to be great
chefs. The non-profit organization, with the help of chefs,
restaurants, and corporations, provides help to students and
schools alike through scholarships, mentoring opportunities
and other events for teens that want to make the food arts
their career.
