The Manhattan Cocktail Classic is a multi-day event celebrating the history, contemporary culture, and artful craft of the cocktail. Part festival, part fête, part conference, and part cocktail party, the Manhattan Cocktail Classic brings together the unparalleled talents and opportunities of the bars, bartenders, and restaurants of New York City for five days of activities, both educational and celebratory in nature, championing the common ideals of authenticity, equality, sustainability, service, and pleasure. (There will be some drinking involved, too.)
The Manhattan Cocktail Classic is the brainchild of thirteen of the world’s greatest bartenders, bar owners, writers, educators, critics, consultants, and ambassadors (including Dale DeGroff, Sasha Petraske, Julie Reiner, Audrey Saunders, and David Wondrich) with whom to share a drink or three.
In addition to the 50-plus workshops, seminars, and tastings, the Manhattan Cocktail Classic will afford bartenders the opportunity to meet and network with other like-minded professionals from the community. And if you truly feel you have nothing further to learn from the likes of Dale DeGroff, Steve Olson, Paul Pacult, and the rest of the overwhelmingly knowledgeable spirits and cocktail gurus that comprise the advisory board, you can entertain yourself (and the rest of us onlookers) by challenging Gary Regan to a drinking contest (which you will lose, verily).
All events (including all seminars, lunches, brunches, dinners, workshops, sunset cruises, rooftop parties, and everything in between) will be individually for $50 each, with the exception of the Gala (which will be $100).
