Biography

Jamie Tiampo is the host of the insatiablycurious.com video podcast, an active partner at dell’anima restaurant in New York, and the founder of See|Food Media LLC, a full-service food photography studio.

Tiampo is the chair-elect of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) food photographers and stylists section. His photographs have appeared in Wine & Spirits magazine, Gambero Rosso, New York Metro, various James Beard publications, and in exhibitions at the James Beard Greenhouse Gallery, the French Culinary Institute, and the Southern Food and Beverage Museum in New Orleans. He is currently under contract with John Wiley & Sons to shoot a new book for release in 2009. He has self-published two books, Autumn Eats (Lulu, 2007) and Adventures in Eating.

Tiampo holds a Master’s degree in Food Studies from New York University, a Grand Diplôme in Classic Culinary Arts from the French Culinary Institute, and a Restaurant Management Diploma from The Institute for Culinary Education. He teaches regularly at the Institute for Culinary Education, and is an instructor at the City University of New York, Kingsborough.
