2011 Chicago Rising Star Community Chef Ryan Poli may have made his name at Perennial, but it’s at Tavernitawhere he can focus on the Spanish flavors he most appreciates. A menu of captivating small plates, highlighting simple flavors and wood grilled flavors, includes smoky romesco-goat cheese crostini and pork belly bocadillos with apple jam. The restaurant’s three bars help lighten the space up (giving it a big night club feel), with plenty of leather banquettes, flamenco music, and a state-of-the-art keg system to keep the party going.
