Yield: 1 Cocktail

INGREDIENTS:

½ ounce fresh lemon juice
¾ ounce agave nectar
½ ounce ginger syrup
1 teaspoon chipotle puree
1 strip red bell pepper
4 lime wedges
2 ounces tequila or mezcal
1 small piece beef jerky

METHOD:

Combine lemon juice, agave nectar, ginger syrup, chipotle purée, bell pepper, and lime wedges in a cocktail shaker. Muddle ingredients with a muddler or wooden spoon. Add 1 cup cubed ice and pour in the tequila or mescal. Stir. Pour mixture into a cocktail glass and garnish with bell pepper and beef jerky.
