Rye Maple Fizz

Yield: 1 Cocktail


2 ounces rye whiskey
¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
½ ounce grade B maple syrup
½ ounce egg white
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 cinnamon stick


Combine the whiskey, lemon juice, maple syrup, egg white, and bitters into shaker with no ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds to build a good froth. Add ice and shake vigorously for 30 to 40 seconds. Strain into a chilled Delmonico glass and top with soda. Garnish with freshly grated cinnamon.
