Blood Water: Death's Door Gin, Lime, Ginger, Orgeat, and Bitter Truth Creole Bitters

INGREDIENTS:

Ginger Syrup
Fresh ginger juice
simple syrup
To Assemble and Serve
1½ ounces Death's Door gin
¾ ounce lime juice
½ ounce orgeat
½ ounce Ginger Syrup
¼ ounce Bitter Truth creole bitters

METHOD:

For the Ginger Syrup:
Combine equal parts ginger juice with syrup. Reserve for up to 1 week.

To Assemble and Serve:
Shake the gin, lime juice, orgeat, and Ginger Syrup with ice. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass over a big cube of ice. Float the bitters on top.
