Walls� Announces New Year's Eve Gala

NEW YORK- DECEMBER 10, 2013 -Chef Kurt Gutenbrunner invites a festive crowd to ring in the New Year at his intimate West Village restaurant, Walls�, in New York's charming West Village neighborhood (344 W. 11th St. New York, NY,10014, 212 352-2300). The first seating at 6pm features an elegant four-course, prix fixe menu with or without wine pairings for $65 or $95, respectively. The 9pm seating includes six courses for $195, or with optional champagne pairings for $295. Guests will enjoy a special presentation of The Viennese Waltz, which will inaugurate 2014 in true Bavarian tradition.

The celebration begins with Barnstable Oyster with Rose Champagne Granitee or Steak Tartare with Caviar and Capers.

In anticipation of the midnight merriment, the feast continues with Lobster and Scallops with Pineapples and Curry or Creamy Spatzle with Celery Root and Black Truffles or Chef Gutenbrunner's classic Viennese Dish, Wiener Schnitzel with Potato-Cucumber Salad and Lingonberries.

The meal is punctuated by Chef Gutenbrunner's traditional Holiday desserts such as Quark Souffle with Raspberries and Lime Sorbet.
