Brian McClintic and Eric Railsback Showcase the best in Champagne and Include a Santa Barbara Seafood Feast for Singles and Couples to Ring in 2014

WHO: Master Sommelier Brian McClintic and Sommelier Eric Railsback, managing partners of Les Marchands Wine Bar & Merchant in Santa Barbara's Funk Zone.

WHAT: McClintic and Railsback, of Les Marchands Wine Bar & Merchant and stars of the 2013 hit film SOMM, celebrate the passing of 2013 and the arrival of 2014 with a spectacular party befitting this paean to fine wine producers. As the ball drops, the bubbles rise. Pouring plentifully for solo guests and couples is Pierre P�ters, the Champagne produced in France by the family since 1919. This champagne, hand selected by McClintic and Railsback, will be accompanied by a raw bar for the ages-replete with Blue Fin Tuna, Oysters on the Half Shell, Local Uni with Burrata and much, much more.

Brian brings 15 years of hospitality experience with him to Les Marchands Wine Bar & Merchant, a career spanning the major restaurant hubs of Los Angeles, Aspen, San Francisco, and now Santa Barbara. McClintic was one of four subjects featured in the acclaimed documentary SOMM, which chronicled his journey to the elusive Master Sommelier title -- becoming the 107th individual in the U.S. to attain this honor.
