Ethan Stowell Restaurants Announces Super Bueno

Family-Friendly Mexican Coming to Wallingford

SEATTLE, March 28, 2018 — Angela and Ethan Stowell are excited to announce their newest restaurant project: Super Bueno, set to open in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood in late spring.

Located at 3627 Stone Way N., Super Bueno will offer two concepts under one roof. The 4000 square foot space will be home to Cafe Bueno and Super Bueno.

Cafe Bueno will offer coffee, pastries, salads, tortas, breakfast burritos, and kids grab-and-go items with plenty of space to spread out inside and outside on a patio—there will even be a kid’s play area on the second level with a television and plenty of seating.

Come 4pm, the cafe portion will be closed off, and the seating area will become a lounge with stairs that head down into the restaurant. The patio with seating for 20, as well as the second level kid’s play area with table and counter seating for 26 will remain part of the restaurant. In addition, Super Bueno will offer seating for 80 in the dining room, 14 at the bar, 24 at a second patio, and a private space will accommodate 20 guests.

The food at Super Bueno will be family-friendly Mexican and include a selection of tacos, nachos, tamales, and salads, as well as queso fondido, grilled street corn, refried bean dip, escabeche, tostados, quesadillas, and shrimp ceviche.

Super Bueno will offer a robust selection of Tequila and Mezcal behind the bar, plus 10 beers on tap, pitchers of margaritas, and even a slushy machine for when you really need a frozen margarita!

“Wallingford is such a great neighborhood and we really wanted to create a location that everyone can enjoy,” says Angela Stowell. “Much like the kid’s play area at Frelard Pizza Co., we wanted to give parents a place to enjoy time with friends over guacamole and a margarita while keeping the kids entertained.”

“Having two levels is ideal,” adds Ethan Stowell. “The restaurant can be what guests need it to be – dinner with the kids, a celebration with friends, or date night.”

Cafe Bueno will be open daily from 7am to 4pm. Super Bueno will be open daily from 4pm to 10pm and offer lunch on Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 11am. Guests can also look forward to a daily happy hour from 4pm to 6pm.

Designed by Atelier Drome, the space will boast high ceilings with exposed fir timbers, whitewashed wood walls, lightwood counter tops, handmade concrete tiles in muted sandy green tones, and pops of color to evoke a rustic and relaxed atmosphere.
