David Kinch of Manresa Restaurant in Los Gatos has been selected as guest chef for the kickoff to the 2005 season of Outstanding in the Field farm dinners on June 26, 2005. Joe Schirmer of Dirty Girl Farm in Santa Cruz, California will host Chef Kinch and local wine makers and cheese artisans for a dinner prepared and served al fresco. Dirty Girl Farm, a scenic farm situated 90 miles south of San Francisco in the coastal town of Santa Cruz, grows a wide variety of organic produce for restaurants and farmers' markets.
