Tad Carducci is a lifelong bartender, award-winning mixologist, and general bon vivant, with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He’s also one half of the dynamic duo known as the Tippling Bros., a New York-based beverage consulting company dedicated to “spirituous advisement and raising of the bar.” In addition to consulting, Carducci is a partner in the Mercadito Restaurant group, with outposts in New York, Chicago, and Miami.
Over the course of his career, Carducci has won many major cocktail competitions, eventually serving as judge, organizer, and emcee of several. A proselytizer as much as producer, Carducci’s work in mixology has been featured in Food & Wine, The New York Times, Imbibe, Vogue, W Magazine, Travel + Leisure, Cheers!, Santé, Food Arts, and Condé Nast, among other national publications, as well as on NBC’s the “Today Show”, Sirius Radio, CW 11 morning news, CNBC, and other media. As a writer, he’s contributed articles to Cheers!, Santé, and TheBoozehound.com.
But Carducci isn’t just avid about cocktails. The top-level graduate of the inaugural Beverage Alcohol Resource course has also earned certificates from both the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. The seemingly tireless spirits enthusiast is also a member of the BarSmarts national training team, a charter member of the New York Chapter of the U.S. Bartenders Guild, and a judge for the Ultimate Beverage Challenge.
