Mixologist Stuart White of Miller Union - Biography
Previous to joining Miller Union in April 2010, Stuart White honed his experience at various Atlanta restaurants, including Aria, Sotto Sotto, Bluepointe and Atlanta Fish Market, where he was instrumental in the creation and management of several award-winning wine programs. White’s understanding of food and beverage profiles and pairings created a natural transition to spirits and cocktails and his role behind the bar at Miller Union.
Bringing 15 years of restaurant industry experience with him to Miller Union, White is dedicated to perfecting the craft of classic and original cocktails as a mixologist. Using fresh, high-quality ingredients, White possesses a passion for eclectic products and vintage techniques. With zeal for Southern seasonality, he continues to evolve and update Miller Union’s cocktail program under the tutelage of partnering mixologist Cara Laudino, where they collaboratively update the restaurant’s seasonal drink menu.
When he’s not mixing, stirring, and/or shaking, White lives in Virginia-Highland where he enjoys playing blues and jazz on the guitar, listening to music, and embarking on late-night adventures to Atlanta’s famed ethnic food community on Buford Highway. He loves zombie movies and chatting about his vast knowledge of cocktail and beverage history.
