Brewer Steve Capelli - Biography

Steve “The Animal” Capelli’s passion for craft beer grew from his culinary background. Training at Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco and working at Hog Island Oyster Company, led Steve to Philadelphia where he worked for a year with Kevin Spraga at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Eventually returning to San Francisco to run Hog Island, Capelli decided to shift career focus after putting 10 years into work in the kitchen. To pursue his love of beer, he joined the team at Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, where his culinary skills and trained palate contribute to in brewing and recipe development.
