Chef Stefano Attardi of Periwinkle at the Ritz-Carlton - Biography

Chef Stefano Attardi was born in Naples, Italy, and practically cut his teeth on his mom’s pasta e fagioli. So even when he’s thousands of miles away, on the distant island of Grand Cayman, Attardi still draws from his early memories of classic Italian cooking. Attardi got his true start in the kitchen at 15, washing pots and pans and helping the chef in a pinch. After honing his skills for years, he now serves as chef de cuisine at Periwinkle at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, where he makes addictive pizzas, along with elegant pastas and risottos.
