The exuberant Chef Shaun Sells started life in a two-person tent in Corral Bay on the island of St. Thomas. Named Top 30 under 30 by Zagat, Chef Sells worked at Pelican Isle Yacht Club in Naples, Florida, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas and The Westin St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands before he landed on the Cape Cod islands to pursue culinary dreams that materialized on the shores of Martha’s Vineyard—where Edgartown Harbor meets Katama Bay. At Water Street, Sells harmoniously brings together the island’s back to nature philosophy with the science of molecular gastronomy. He sources the freshest produce, meats, fish and poultry from local farms and fishermen and prepares his food to highlight unique, local flavors.
