Mixologist Sean McClure - Biography
Sean McClure has no formal wine education to speak of, but he’s been surrounded by food and wine since he was 14 years old. A judge in the 1st and 2nd Annual StarChefs.com Somm Slams, McClure is now competing for the first time. McClure may not have any Court of Master Sommelier Certifications (just yet, that is), but he’s worked in the restaurants including like Boston’s Bricco, Portland’s (Maine) Cinque Terre and Vignola restaurants, and New York’s Daniel (where he was bartender and assistant sommelier). Most recently, McClure had brought his passion and home-grown wine and spirits savvy to Craft.
