Sommelier Peter Mastrogiovanni of Abe & Arthur's - Biography

Peter Mastrogiovanni first stumbled upon the hospitality industry while working shifts at Nobu as he attended John Jay College. After graduating with a government studies degree in 2007, Mastrogiovanni remained with the restaurant and began educating himself on wines and spirits. His career progressed quickly thereafter. He took the post of wine director at Bouley in 2009 and then moved on to serve as wine director of EMM Group, where he oversees the wine and beverage programs for Abe & Arthur’s, Lexington Brass, and SL Nightclub. Mastrogiovanni oversees the dining room at Abe & Arthur's, which serves over 400 covers a night, and he manages the 330 bottle wine list across the three venues.
