Chef Patrick Sheerin of Trenchermen - Biography
As the brother of the successful Rising Star Chef, Michael Sheerin, Patrick may have grown up with a certain level of culinary competitiveness. Yet, his career has now taken him well beyond the family circle. A graduate of the French Culinary Institute and Michigan State University’s School of Hospitality Business, Patrick Sheerin worked his way through some of Chicago’s more elite kitchens, including the Four Seasons Hotel, Naha, and Everest, in both savory and pastry positions. His next move would last eight years, working his way to executive chef of The Signature Room at the 95th.
Ultimately, however, there was a lot more collaboration than competition between Patrick and his brother. Fortunate for Chicago diners, the brothers launched the wildly popular and critically acclaimed Trenchermen in Wicker Park in July 2012.
