Originally from San Diego, California, Matt Leatherman moved to Seattle, Washington, and started bartending at age 21. He learned craft cocktailing in the Seattle cocktail movement in the mid-aughts and has been living and working in New York for the last five years. He currently runs the bar program and cocktail development for Wallsé restaurant and KG-NY Restaurant Group.
